| Changes in UPSC Main Exam – Apply Online for Examination Posted: 06 Mar 2013 03:04 AM PST The Union Public Service Commission is going to conduct Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2013 on 26th May, 2013. This preliminary examination is treated as common for Civil Services Examination and Indian Forest Service Examination. Preliminary examination is screening mechanism for main examination for Civil Services and Indian Forest Service. UPSC CIVIL SERVICES MAIN EXAM CHANGESPreliminary Examination – Total 400 MarksThe Exam shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each (Paper-1 for General Studies& Paper-2 for Attitude Test) Main Examination – Total 2075 Marks
How to apply for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2013:Eligible and interested candidates are requested to apply online through the website www.upsconline.nic.in. No other mode for application will be accepted. Candidates may select either the Civil Services or Indian Forest Service or both. Registration process is divided in two parts said Part-I and Part-II. Candidates are requested to read all instructions before application for any examination.Date for online application: Candidates may apply online from 05/03/2013 to 04/04/2013 till 11.59 PM. Selection of examination center: Candidates may select nearest center for exam from provided list. No changes will be made in the center after selection once. Applications were invited for Combined Graduate Level Examination and Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Examination. The commission has found some applications incomplete. Incomplete applications are treated as rejected as there might be mistake in fee payment mode, transaction ID, registration ID, or fee challan number. However, the commission has decided to sit them in examination by showing proofs. The listed candidates are required to submit documentary proof of fee having been paid at the time of written examination to the supervisor. | Punjab National Bank (PNB) Clerk Exam Results for Chhatisgarh & Gujarat Posted: 05 Mar 2013 09:43 PM PST Punjab National Bank is India's second biggest nationalized bank. It had issued notification for written examination for the post of Single Window Operator (SWO) – 'A' in clerical cadre. IBPS had conducted Common Written Examination (CWE) in Nov-2011. The commission is glad to declare result of CWE for the states Chhattisgarh and Gujarat. The result of remaining states will be declared later on. The list of pass candidates is given state wise.
