Admission at Nirma University Institute of Law – 5 Years Integrated Programmes for 2013

The institute of Law, Nirma University was established under the Gujarat State Legislative Act. It is recognized under section 2 (f) of UGC Act. It was awarded with Institutional Excellence Award, 2012 by society of Indian Law Firms and Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training (MILAT).

The University has issued notification for taking admission in Five Year Integrated Programmes in various fields. Applications are invited from interested and qualified candidates in prescribed format. The details are given below.

5 Years Integrated Programmes: B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), B.Com., LLB. (Hons.), B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. Programme

Eligibility criteria for admission:

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed Higher Secondary or Intermediate examination (10+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Age Limit: Age of the candidate should not be more than 20 years as on 01/07/2013.

Dates to Remember: Last date of receipt of filled application is 25/05/2013.

Application Fees: Candidates can make online payment of Rs.2000/- (Rs.3000/- for NRI/ PIO/ FN/ CIWGC-SEA categories candidates) from the website www.nirmauni.ac.in/law through Net Banking Debit Card/Credit Card OR candidates may furnish Demand Draft of Rs.2000/- (Rs.3000/- for NRI/ PIO/ FN/ CIWGC-SEA categories candidates) drawn in favour of "Institute of Law, Nirma University" payable at Ahmedabad.

Selection Process: Candidates, willing to get admission at university, must appear in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2013 conducted by Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur. Admission will be made on the basis of All India Rank of CLAT 2013.

USIEF - Fulbright-Nehru Master's Fellowships 2014 – 2015 in USA – Applications are invited

Applications are invited for Fulbright- Nehru Master's Fellowships and other Fellowships from Indian Citizen Students, College/ University Faculties, Researchers, School Teachers, Policy Planners, Administrators and Professionals. The details are given below.

Eligibility for Fulbright- Nehru Master's Fellowships:

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have completed Bachelor's Degree course (Four years) or a Master degree (if bachelor degree is not for 4 years) with minimum 55% marks from recognized Indian University.

Experience: Candidate should have at least three years professional work experience relevant to their proposed field of study.

Dates to Remember: Application due date is July 1, 2013 for fellowship of year 2014-2015. Selection procedure and tentative dates are given at official website.

Selection Process: Placement will be made by the Institute of International Education (IIE), New York.

How to Apply for USIEF- Fulbright-Nehru Master's Fellowships:

Written Examination Date for Motor Vehicle Supervisor Class-2 & Assistant Motor Vehicle Supervisor Class-3

Gujarat Public Service Commission had published advertisement for recruitment of Assistant Motor Vehicle Supervisor Class-3 and Motor Vehicle Supervisor Class-2 for SC category candidates under Advertisement No. 20/2012-13 and Advertisement No. 21/2012-13 respectively. The written test will be held for both the posts as per following:

1) Assistant Motor Vehicle Supervisor Class-3: At 13/04/2013 on Saturday at Ahmedabad.

2) Motor Vehicle Supervisor Class-2: At 28/04/2013 on Sunday at Ahmedabad.

GPSC Agriculture Officer Class-2 Syllabus for Preliminary Exam

Gujarat Public Service Commission had published advertisement for recruitment of Agriculture Officer Class-2 under Advertisement No. 07/2012-13. Preliminary Examination for such post is going to held on 23/03/2013, Saturday at Ahmedabad.

Syllabus for exam is put on official website of commission. Preliminary examination is divided in two parts Part-1 and Part-2.

Part-1 includes question paper about General Study in Guajarati language. Part-2 will be a question paper in English language of combined subjects. More details are given on commission's website www.gpsc.gujarat.gov.in. Candidates are requested to visit this website time to time.

Download GPSC/201213/17 Agriculture Officer Admit Card

Gujarat Public Service Commission had published advertisement for recruitment of Agriculture Officer Class-2 under Advertisement No. 07/2012-13. The commission is going to conduct examination on 23/03/2013 on Saturday. Candidates, who have sent applications, are shortlisted for preliminary examination. They can successfully download admit cards from official website of Ojas Gujarat.

Candidates, who haven't send applications along with documents or haven't paid fees, cannot download admit card. However, they may present in the examination by giving proper filled application (along with necessary documents) and/or paid Rs.112/- in cash from 11/03/2013 to 18/03/2013 at Commission's office personally.

Such applicants may receive admit cards from R-1 Department of Commission only after furnishing application. Candidates have to take all six print outs (Admit card, call letter, Annexure-1, Annexure-2, OMR Sheet-SPECIMEN) from website between 11/03/2013 to 22/03/2013. They can download all necessary letters by following procedure:

Steps to download Admit Card:

First, go to the website http://ojas.guj.nic.in or http://ojas1.guj.nic.in
Click on the option "Print Call Letter".
Candidate has to select his job from "Job Select" and insert "Confirmation Number" and "Birth date".
Then click on "Print Call Letter" and take print out of Annexure-1 and Annexure-2. Candidate also has to take print of OMR Sheet which can be downloaded by clicking on "GPSC – OMR Sheet-SPECIMEN". Call letter includes examination centre name.
All print outs should be carried at the time of examination.
If photo on the letter is not clear, candidate has to affix recent passport size photograph in given space.

Important Dates:

Candidates, who haven't applied before, can furnish application with necessary documents and fees from 11/03/2013 to 18/03/2013.
Admit card and other documents can be downloaded from 11/03/2013 to 22/03/2013.
Examination will be conducted on 23/03/2013 on Saturday.
