Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (Gujarat Rajta Marg Vahan Nigam) (GSRTC) had invited applications for the post of Conductors. The notification was issued and applications were invited from female candidates. They were shortlisted on the basis of qualification. The written test was taken on 24/02/2013 by GSRTC and the provisional selection list is declared by the commission on the basis of merit list of educational qualifications and written test.

As per defined earlier, selection for actual post will be made after verification of original mark sheets/ certificates. Selected candidates have to remain present along with original testimonials at the time of verification.

The candidates should keep in mind that this is only provisional list of eligible candidates. Actual appointment will be made after verification procedure/ interview. Central reserve police force had issued notification for the post of SI/ Civil and CT/ Pioneer (Mason/ Plumber/ Electrician). The recruitment was for male candidates only and applications were received from them. Candidates, who had applied for such posts, are informed to remain present for verification of their testimonials and certificates.

The list of the candidates of both posts is put on website of the department. It can be also shown from the following links. Candidates have to remain present on 01/04/13 for the verification procedure. They have to come along with their original educational professional/ITI/experience/caste certificates etc at the of PST/PET/Testimonials process.

The list is given in the order of Roll Number of shortlisted qualified candidates. It also includes Candidate Name, Father Name, Date of Birth, Category and Post Applied for. Candidates have to remain present on 01/04/2013 at following address with original certificates.

DIRECTORATE OF GROUNDNUT RESEARCH (ICAR) invites applications for the various posts recruitment for Junagadh, Gujarat. Eligible and interested candidates may apply for the post after considering following details.

Job Description:

1) Senior Technical Assistant (T-4): 3 posts
Salary: Selected candidate will be eligible to receive remuneration in the pay band-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- with G. P. Rs. 4200/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have obtained Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Bachelor's degree in Biology/ Life Sciences/ Bio Science from a recognized university or institution.
Age Limit: Age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 30 years.

2) Technical Assistant (T-3): 1 post
Salary: Selected candidate will be eligible to receive remuneration in the pay band-2 Rs. 5200-20200/- with G. P. Rs. 2800/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have obtained Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Bachelor's degree in Biology/ Life Sciences/ Bio Science from a recognized university or institution.
Age Limit: Age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 30 years.

3) Stenographer (English): 1 post
Salary: Selected candidate will be eligible to receive remuneration in the pay band-2 Rs. 5200-20200/- with G. P. Rs. 2400/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed 12th standard or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Candidate should be expert in shorthand and typewriting in English.
Age Limit: Age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 27 years.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is permissible to the candidates of OBC and SC category. There is no age limit for ICAR employees.

Dates to Remember: Last date for receipt of application is 26/04/2013 by 05.00 PM.

Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) Civil Assistant Engineer Written Exam Result

Surat Municipal Corporation (Surat Mahanagar Palika) had conducted Written Examination for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil) on 10th March, 2013. The result of such exam is declared now. Candidates, who were present in the examination, are able to see their result on the following website.

The list of the candidates is given as roll number wise. The exam was of total 100 marks. Minimum eligibility of passing is 50 marks or 50% result. Those are considered as fail, who have obtained marks under 50 (Fifty marks). The below link contains the result.
