Application Fees :

  • Application Fee for all the general category candidates is Rs.50/-.
  • Application fee is Exempted for SC/ST category candidates, for all female candidates and Ex-Servicemen.
  • It is a non-refundable fees.

Payment Of Fee Method :

  • Application fee can be paid by means of crossed IPO/Demand Draft/ Banker's Cheque drawn in favour of the Deputy Inspector General of Police

Education qualification: Interested candidates must have to be at least passed Matriculation from recognized board. For more detail information as per post wise refer to notification.

Age limit: Age of interested candidates must be more than 21 years and less than 27 years as on 01st January 2015. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.

Pay scale: Selected candidates will get PB-I Rs. 5,200/- To Rs. 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,000/-. For more detail refer advt.

Selection procedure: Applicant will be selected on the basis of their performance in various stages such as Physical Measurement/ Standard Test, Written Test, Trade Test, Medical test.

Application Procedure :

  • Offline mode of application is accepted.
  • Candidates have to fill the application form completely with required information.
  • Affix the candidates passport sized photograph and signature.
  • Attach all the necessary documents.
  • Enclose all this in an envelope.
  • Envelope should be subscribed as following" APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (TECH & TRADES) IN CRPF – 2014"

Selection Procedure :

Selection is based on four Stages as follows ;

Stages I : Physical Measurement/Standard Test.

Stage II : Written Test

Stage III : Trade Test

Stage IV : Medical Examination

Examination Pattern :

  • Examination will be conducted on OMR sheets.
  • Examination consists of total 100 marks
  • Paper comprising questions of multiple choice questions.
  • Cut-off percentage for qualifying is as follows
  • For General Category and ex-servicemen candidates is 35%
  • For SC/ST/OBC Candidates is 33%

Paper is divided into two parts

Part I :

It carries questions from the following topics.

  1. a)General awareness / knowledge
  1. b) Knowledge of elementary mathematics
  2. c) Analytical aptitude.
  3. d) Ability to observe and distinguish patterns.
  4. e) Basic knowledge in English/Hindi.

Part II :

It carries questions from the respective Trades for testing the candidates knowledge in their respective selected posts.
