It also efforts to improve the economical and social conditions of the country as well as welfare of the people by providing them education, medical facilities and cultural development. Central University of Gujarat has invited the applications for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor for various Schools of studies/ Centers of studies. Number of vacancies: No. of vacancies in different positions are as under: Professor: 09 posts Associate Professor: 20posts Assistant Professor: 12 posts Salary: Pay scales for the different posts are as under: Professor                : Rs. 37400-67000; AGP: Rs. 10,000 Associate Professor: Rs. 37400-67000; AGP: Rs. 9,000 Assistant Professor : Rs. 15600-39100; AGP: Rs. 6000 Educational Qualification: Professor: Candidates should have the Ph. D. qualification in a relevant discipline and should have the high quality research work and that should be published in at least 10 publications as a books or research papers. Associate Professor: Candidates should have the Ph. D. degree in a relevant discipline and Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grades. Assistant Professor: Candidates should have the Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grades with good academic record as per the university rules. Candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET). Dates to Remember:   Last date for the submission of applications: 22/07/2013 Application Fees:  A Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- for the general category candidate and Rs. 250/- for OBC category candidate, drawn in favour of "Central University of Gujarat", Payable at Gandhinagar / Ahmedabad.
